Melissa Joan Hart Speaks Out on Nashville School Shooting
After six people, including three children, were shot dead on Monday, actress Melissa Joan Hart claims she was close to Nashville’s Covenant School and assisted some youngsters in fleeing the scene. In a video uploaded to Instagram on Tuesday, Hart stated, “My kids attend a school directly adjacent to a school where there was a sh**ting today.” The video was “too raw to post” the day of the incident, according to Hart, who delayed its distribution by a day.
In order to escape the shooter situation at their school, a class of kindergarteners was trying to scramble out of the woods and across a busy roadway, according to Hart. “We helped a lady reunite with her children, and we assisted all these little kids to cross the road and get their instructors over there.”
Hart is most recognized for her work as a young actor, appearing in the sitcoms “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” and “Clarissa Explains It All.” She claimed that due to previously scheduled parent-teacher conferences, her own children’s school did not hold lessons on Monday.
Hart claimed that her family had previously been in the vicinity of a school sh**ting. She remarked, referring to the 2012 elementary school sh**ting that claimed the lives of 20 children and six adults, “We relocated here from Connecticut, where we were in a school a couple of ways down from Sandy Hook.”
