Prince William, Kate Middleton’s husband, has made headlines once again due to an infidelity rumor involving British socialite Rose Hanbury.
Although Rose was a close friend of William and Kate’s, rumors that she had a romantic relationship with King Charles III‘s eldest son sparked a media frenzy in 2019.

The story took a surprising turn, however, when the Duke of Suss*x said on their Netflix show Harry & Meghan, “They were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.”
Some surmised that the Duke meant that officials at Buckingham Palace ‘lied’ to silence the story about the alleged affair between his older brother and Rose so that they could shift attention to Harry and his pregnant bride Meghan Markle.

The rumors that Rose and Prince William had been excluded from royal engagements were refuted by the fact that she and her husband attended the Queen’s burial. Although she avoided having her picture taken with the royal family.
