In the words of Bartise Bowden, he transitioned from “zaddy on Screen to daddy in real life.” On April 7, the Love Is Blind star revealed the birth of his son. “Might’ve been the villain on tv, but I’m gonna be the hero for him,” Bartise wrote on social media. “Instagram, meet my little man #bigfella.”
On season three of the Netflix series, Bartise announced the end of his engagement to Nancy Rodriguez, but he kept quiet about the mother of his child.
The fitness instructor did, however, post a gallery of pictures with his baby that showed how the two of them are getting along. Together, the father and son pair watched the premiere of Love Is Blind and Tiger Woods’ 2023 Masters match on television.
“Ready to see your first-ever Tiger Woods golf show? Look at that, “He stated in a video on Instagram. “Let’s see if he watches. I used to do this with my dad.”
Another image showed Bartise cradling his child while sporting a shamrock necklace. The child was sporting a green onesie and matching beanie with a clover print, and the occasion appeared to be March 17’s St. Patrick’s Day.
The couple attempted to mend fences off-camera after Bartise abandoned Nancy at the altar, as seen in Love Is Blind in October 2022, but ultimately decided to part ways while filming the February 2023 episode After the Altar.
“I can confirm I know what I want in my life, whether it’s certain friendships or certain relationships,” Nancy exclusively told E! News in February. “I know that [Bartise didn’t] align with that. So, your ticket expired. Goodbye.”
While still engaged to Nancy, Bartise referred to co-star Raven Ross as “f—king gorgeous,” and he acknowledged that he “made a mess” of things during that season. The Texas-based celebrity also made an appearance in a Netflix dating series called Perfect Match in February 2023.

He dated a number of ladies there, but in the end, decided to pair up with Izzy Fairthorne for the show’s grand finale. Since the show aired, the couple hasn’t commented on their relationship status, but People claimed in March that they’re no longer dating. His Perfect Match co-stars are now ecstatic about his new phase.
Shayne Jansen commented, “Congrats big fella!! Youre going to be a great father and know you have a great support group behind you,” with Joey Sasso adding, “I’m so happy for you bro. You are going to be a great father. I love this for you so much. Can’t wait to meet the lil big fella.”
Meanwhile, Kariselle Snow wrote, “Bartise being the first dad after Perfect Match was not on my bingo card.”
