“He’s talked about this publicly, but there were times when I’d give him my per diem from a job I was working on so that he could have money to feed himself.” Now, Paulson described the actor’s fanbase as “so psychotic,” adding that “everyone wants a piece of him” from the movies “Last of Us” and “The Mandalorian.”
Paulson said, “You just want him to be successful. “And that, in my opinion, is the mark of a big-name movie star. I’m prepared for him to take over from the men who starred in romantic comedies in the past, including Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson, and all of these other guys. He is capable of being everything. Pascal acknowledged that his early career setbacks had a negative impact on his resiliency while referring to Paulson as a member of his “New York family.”
Pascal said,
“I died so many deaths. I constantly reevaluated what it meant to dedicate my life to this profession and gave up the idea that it would look like it did when I was a child because I had the idea that if I didn’t have some major exposure by the time I was twenty-nine years old, it was over. There were a ton of valid reasons to discard that delusion.
