Music Industry Executive David Bolno Denies Involvement in Miami Beach Death

According to police, music industry executive David Bolno is no longer considered to be a person of interest in the Miami Beach murder of a would-be singer. According to the Daily Mail, Bolno, 46, who has collaborated with artists like Drake and Post Malone, claims he “wasn’t there” when aspiring musician Laura Lozano’s lifeless body was discovered in the bathtub of his ocean-view suite in Miami Beach.

On March 30, according to the news source, the 34-year-old woman was found face up in the bathroom of his one-bedroom suite at Miami’s upscale Setai Hotel. Bolno left the suite just after 4:30 a.m. on the morning of Lozano’s passing, as seen on hotel security footage.

Her lifeless body was found by hotel staff nine hours later. According to the police, an “unknown substance” was discovered throughout the suite. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Bolno referred to Lozano’s passing as a “terrible tragedy” and acknowledged that he had hoped to sign the upcoming artist after having “helped her to make music.”

He said to the outlet, “It was a terrible tragedy. “I wasn’t there when they found her because I had left the room earlier in the morning.” She was someone I really liked and a good person, so it was very sad, said Bolno, a partner at NKSFB, the biggest business management company in the country with headquarters in California.

Bolno claims Lozano was in his suite because she had been making music recordings there the previous evening. He explained, “She’s a client and was going to sign a record deal with me. I assisted her in making music. “Honestly, I really don’t want to go into it too much; it was a terrible tragedy.”

Bolno responded that the only reason Lozano had been in his hotel room at such strange times was that he had “let her stay there” and that “there’s not much more to it.” He added that Lozano’s body “was found much later in the day” and stated, “She was found when I’d left.”

Bolno was listed as a “person of interest” in Lozano’s de@th by Miami Beach police in a police report, but the business tycoon maintains, “I wasn’t there when she died.” He was no longer listed as a person of interest, they later disclosed to The Post.

At this time, it is unknown if Lozano was a Miami native. Bolno asserted that he had spoken to the woman’s family and that they are “devastated.” The Hollywood Reporter and Variety magazine named Bolno, a Duke University alumnus, as one of Hollywood’s top business managers.

According to the website of company, he “advises on business, personal wealth, and tax planning matters in the US and abroad” and counsels “record companies, recording studios, and high net-worth individuals.”
