The latest season of American Crime Story, which dealt with Bill Clinton’s impeachment, has concluded. Still, the FX series has already revealed what story it will be portraying in the upcoming season.
The fourth season of American Crime Story will occur before the 1990s-era dramas The People v. O.J. Simpson, The Assassination of Gianna Versace, and Impeachment. It will mark the return of producer Ryan Murphy to a period (and location) he previously explored in one of his shows.
Is American Crime Story Returning for Season 4?
Fans of American Crime Story will be happy to hear that the show will return for a fourth season, which will center on a brand-new true-crime tale. Deadline reports that a fourth season of the show, which will examine Studio 54 and the rise and collapse of its founders, Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager, is already in production.
When Liz Smith’s column appeared in the Indianapolis Star when Murphy was a child in Indiana, she read about it and said, “Oh! I wish I could go there. “I adore the subject matter. I love that period and location. However, I also believe it is a tale of excess and two men who had a dream but went too far with it before paying the price.
I adore Ian Schrager’s creations and consider him to be brilliant. It’s a compelling tale when told through the lens of American Crime Story, he continued.

What Will Happen In American Crime Story Season 4?
In season four of Studio 54: American Crime Story, Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager, two businessmen who transformed their Manhattan club into one of the city’s most well-known nightlife hotspots, will be the main characters.
After opening in 1977, Studio 54 quickly gained international recognition for its rigorous admittance requirements, VIP rooms, and frequent drug usage. It also attracted notable visitors. When Rubell and Schrager were found guilty of tax evasion in 1979, they received a three-and-a-half-year prison term and a $20,000 fine.
American Crime Story Season 4 Release Date
Considering that we’ve previously had to wait two to four years for the last series to appear, it’s difficult to estimate when Studio 54: American Crime Story will premiere. While Impeachment took four years to debut, The Assassination of Gianni Versace debuted two years after The People v. O.J. Simpson (although the coronavirus epidemic most likely caused a production delay).
Based on past seasons, November 2023 is the earliest we can anticipate season four to be available, and since the idea is already in development, we can only hope it will happen by then.
