Aerosmith, which consists of lead singer Steven Tyler, guitarists Joe Perry and Brad Whitford, bassist Tom Hamilton, and drummer Joey Kramer, is going on what seems to be their last tour, which is called Peace Out. The group announced a number of shows in North America starting in September 2023.
Everyone in the band is in their 70s, with Tyler being the oldest at 75. Since 2019, Kramer’s drum tech, John Douglas, has filled in for him at live shows during certain times.
This message was shared on Aerosmith’s Facebook page earlier today:
“PEACE OUT! After 50 years, 10 trips around the world, and playing for more than 100 million people… Time for one more try!
