Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard finalized their divorce just days before she revealed her pregnancy with boyfriend Davon Godchaux.
According to court documents from The US Sun, the supermodel and the New York Giants athlete presented their signed Marital Settlement Agreement on April 19.
By April 28, a New Jersey judge had approved the divorce, declaring them single people. The former couple “voluntarily agreed to settle all collateral issues including … alimony, custody, child support and equitable distribution,” according to the source.
According to reports, both Iman, 32, and Shepard, 30, thought the terms were “fair and equitable.” Their kids, Cali Clay, 4, and Cassie Snow, 3, will be in shared custody.
After nearly four years of marriage, Sterling filed for divorce in June 2021, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the break.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel confirmed her pregnancy on Wednesday after publicist Lori Krebs released a photo of her with a developing baby belly.
“Our family is growing and we are so excited to meet our new little one 👼🏽,” she captioned maternity photos of herself with NFL player Godchaux.
They posed in all-white clothing, looking into each other’s eyes and touching her naked stomach. The New England Patriots defensive tackle alluded to an impending engagement when he said, “My love my everything! Soon to be mine forever 💍❤️❤️🤞🏾🙏🏾.”

While it’s unclear when Iman and Godchaux started d@ting, they made their relationship Instagram official in April 2022. They posted photos from Coachella on their Instagram accounts at the time, with the athlete remarking, “Mines.”
Godchaux has a son named Davon from a previous relationship.
