Loki Season 2 Delayed

Loki Season 2 Delayed: Will Marvel Replace Kang?

Loki season 2 is one of the most-anticipated MCU stories of the year, but Marvel has allegedly pushed back the Disney Plus release date. Season 2 might not come out in late summer as planned, but instead in the fall.

The delay has nothing to do with the problems Jonathan Majors has had outside of the movie, which could lead Marvel to replace Kang. Well, not all of it. Even if it is, Marvel may not be able to find a new Kang in time for the reshoots of Loki season 2. Keep in mind that there may be spoilers coming up.

Will Marvel Replace Kang? The Rumors Explained

The Majors controversy hasn’t been addressed by Marvel yet. But the actor is going to see a judge this week, and Kevin Feige and the rest of the Marvel team might have something to say about that. That is just a guess, though. Others have already cut links with Majors because of the claims of domestic abuse that led to his arrest at the end of March.

Some sources say that Marvel has been looking at ways to recast Kang, the main bad guy in the Multiverse Saga who Marvel can’t just get rid of right now. Other reports said that Marvel had never thought about casting someone else as Majors.

Because of this problem, putting off season 2 of Loki seems like the right thing to do. Kang should play a big part in the show. Loki has huge effects on both the Multiverse Saga, which is going on now, and the Infinity Saga, which finished with season 1. And Kang is right in the middle of it all.

There can’t be a second season of Loki without Kang in it. And word on the street is that there might be more than one kind of Kang in it.

If Marvel decided to find a new actor to play Kang, a Loki season 2 release date delay might give them time to reshoot all of Kang’s parts for the current season with the new actor. This is just a guess, and it’s a lot easier to say than to do. If we’re on the right track, it could take months to find the right person to replace Kang.

Why Loki Season 2 Is Delayed?

As per our research, Marvel has chosen that Loki season 2 will come out in October. Owen Wilson recently said that Loki would come out in September, but this is not the case.

The reason for the delay is that Marvel wants Loki season 2 to have a great story and that the world is in a bad place right now. The “current climate” refers to the writers’ strike that Hollywood is going through right now, not the Majors scandal, though Majors may also be a role.

Loki Season 2 Coming to Disney+ in 2023:

It seems that Marvel had put off season 2 of Loki forever before deciding on October 2023:

The dates have moved from September to October because making the season has hit a snag because of the current state of the entertainment industry. Sources say that Marvel Studios has talked about the possibility of putting off the release of Loki season 2 because of a number of problems. At one point, Marvel put the second season of Loki on a “TBD” (to be determined) date, but then they decided to move forward with a possible October 2023 date.

Even though the second season of Loki has been delayed, the same sources told the blog that Majors will still play Kang versions. That is, reshoots with a different character shouldn’t be expected.

Our Research says that Marvel has started planning to replace Kang the Conqueror “if push comes to shove and the need arises.” The Cosmic Circus says that both Marvel and Disney are keeping an eye on how the case plays out.
