The reason Kyle Jacobs di*d has been found out by the authorities. A spokesman for the Davidson County Medical Examiner told E! News on May 9 that Kellie Pickler’s husband k*lled himself on February 17. He was 49.
Jacobs did not have any dr*gs in his body when he di*d, but he had a history of “pseudoseizures, gastrointestinal bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and chronic alcohol use,” according to an autopsy report that Taste of Country got its hands on.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department was called to Pickler’s Tennessee home on February 17 after the former American Idol contestant woke up and couldn’t find her husband.
In a statement to E! News at the time, the police said that Pickler and her helper called 911 because they couldn’t get into an upstairs bedroom/office while looking for Jacobs.

In 2011, Pickler, who is 36, and the songwriter had a secret wedding in the Caribbean. I Love Kellie Pickler, a CMT reality show that ran from 2015 to 2017, told the story of the couple’s life in Nashville.
“We just do everything we can just to be real,” Jacobs told Yahoo’s BUILD series in 2017. “We love laughing through life. We love to do that, and that’s what the show is. Our show is love and laughter.”
Even though Pickler has not talked about her husband’s de@th in public, other country stars have paid honor to Jacobs since his de@th. Lee Brice worked with Jacobs on his song “Save the Roses.” In an Instagram post on Feb. 22, Brice called Jacobs “one of the best people anyone could ever hope to have in their corner.”
