FX confirmed on social media that “The Bear” Season 2 will be available on Hulu on June 22. The Chicago-based restaurant dramedy’s second season was previously said to have a June launch date.
With Jeremy Allen White portraying Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, “The Bear” tells the story of a young, classically trained chef who, following his brother’s suicide, comes to Chicago to handle his family’s Italian beef shop.
Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Edwin Lee Gibson, Abby Elliott, Corey Hendrix, Matty Matheson, Richard Esteras, and Jose M. Cervantes all appear in the series.

Bob Odenkirk’s addition to the program as a guest star was exclusively disclosed by Variety in April. Additionally joining the cast in a significant recurring role is Molly Gordon.
The kitchen staff packs up their stuff as they close the restaurant in order to reopen it as The Bear in a teaser trailer for the second season that FX released during the 95th Academy Awards. It’s a rebirth, not a reopening.
“The Bear” Season 2 will have 10 episodes, two more than the first season, and will center on the debut of the new restaurant. Along with Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, Hiro Murai, and Nate Matteson, Storer serves as executive producer.
