Kim Biermann Divorce: Kim Zolciak has decided to part ways with the ring that “meant a thing.” The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum posted a photo of her ringless finger on Instagram just two days after filing for divorce from spouse Kroy Biermann.
Since her 26-year-old daughter “Brielle doesn’t acknowledge me for hours,” Zolciak could relax and enjoy learning to play “Fortnite” online. Zolciak, who spent most of the 15-second film on her feet while she fumbled to put on a gaming headset, smiled and laughed throughout.
Brielle stopped following her adoptive father on Instagram when her mother filed for divorce, maybe because he had recently changed his bio to read, “My ring meant a thing.”
To subtly poke fun at Zolciak, whose bio reads, “Don’t b Tardy 2 our party!” Biermann, who filed for divorce on May 5, two days before his estranged wife, altered his bio to read, “You can Google Me & see I wasn’t Tardy for that Party.”
In addition to escalating financial troubles, including over $1 million in unpaid taxes owed to the IRS, the public display of affection couple has reportedly separated this week.
Kim Biermann Divorce: They split after 11 years
After 11 years of marriage, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” actress Kim Zolciak and former NFL player Kroy Biermann have decided to divorce. They have been separated since April, but within hours of each other filed divorce papers in Fulton County Superior Court.
On Monday at 1:15 p.m. local time on Friday, Biermann filed his petition. Monday at 3:44 p.m. local time, the courts received Zolciak’s divorce petition. It has been stated in the petitions submitted by both sides that the marriage has “irretrievably broken.”
Zolciak (real name Kimberleigh Biermann) and Biermann have been living at the same address with their four children, Kroy (11), Kash (10), and 9-year-old twins Kane and Kaia, according to court filings, despite their separation. Brielle, 25, and Ariana, 21, are Zolciak’s older kids from other relationships.
After 11 years of marriage, Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak have decided to separate. Documents show that Biermann is seeking sole legal custody of their children, while Zolciak is seeking shared legal custody and the return of her maiden name.
In 2014, after the birth of her twins, Zolciak gushed to Life & Style magazine that her family finally felt “100% complete.” While Brielle wants to eat, Kash wants to be carried, and KJ is urinating all over the bathroom, having one or two babies in your arms is an absolute adventure.
The pace is fast, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. She remarked then that her growing family was “a trip.” Season 3 of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” featured extensive coverage of the couple’s courtship and subsequent relationship.
Before landing their reality show, centered on their family, which started in 2012 and has run for eight seasons, Bravo’s series “Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding” followed their 11/11/11 wedding.
