Did Jonathan Majors Dating Meagan Good? What Are The Assault Charges?

Reportedly dating is Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good. According to TMZ’s Saturday morning report, they’ve been spending more and more time together over the last several weekends, and their connection is “fairly new.” The news source said that witnesses confirmed that the group went to the Alamo Drafthouse in downtown Los Angeles last Saturday to watch a film.

People verified their relationship after TMZ broke the news.

A full temporary order of protection was issued against Majors only a few weeks before the couple’s announcement of their engagement. After a temporary order of protection was issued, a full restraining order was issued.

The lawyer for Majors told ET, “This is standard in cases such as this, and we consented because Mr. Majors wants nothing to do with the woman” who is accusing him in a statement about the order.

The Creed III actor was formally charged with three counts of third-degree assault, one crime of aggravated harassment in the second degree, three counts of attempted third-degree assault, and one offense of harassment in the second degree, as reported by ET on March 25.

As stated by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, Majors “struck, shoved, kicked, and otherwise subjected another person to physical contact thereby causing physical injury to such person and to a family and household member of such person.”

The complainant stated that Majors had assaulted her with “an open hand,” causing “substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear.” In addition, she said that Majors grabbed her hand, “causing swelling, bruising, and substantial pain to her finger.” The complainant further stated that Majors’s hand had been placed on her neck, “causing bruising and substantial pain.”

Majors has vehemently denied the accusations through his attorney, Priya Chaudhry, who previously told ET that “Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone. We have provided irrefutable evidence to the District Attorney that the charges are false. We are confident that he will be fully exonerated.”
