In 1958, Anka released four singles that charted in the top 20; “It’s Time to Cry,” which peaked at number four, and “(All of a Sudden) My Heart Sings,” which peaked at number fifteen, were two of the most successful.
Anka became one of the most famous teen idols of her day at the tender age of 17. He then embarked on a tour of the United Kingdom and Australia, where he shared the stage with Buddy Holly.
