Twitter Blue users can now post movies up to two hours long, and I’ve already seen someone try to share what looked like the full version of Shrek the Third in the comments of Twitter owner Elon Musk’s tweet about the change. (Since then, the movie has been taken down.)
Videos will have a quality of 1080p and must be less than 8GB in size. A support document says that you can only share videos longer than two hours if you do so from the web or iOS.
If you use Android, you can only post movies up to 10 minutes long. Even with these limits, I don’t think Shrek the Third will be the only full movie on Twitter.
After all, a lot of people just watched The Super Mario Bros. Movie in its entirety on the site. Non-Blue users will still only be able to post 140-second videos.

The new video lengths are just one of the new features starting with a Twitter Blue subscription. Other new features include a blue verified checkmark (which is becoming something of a meme-worthy status symbol), and encrypted messages with some severe flaws.
An absurd 10,000-character limit (up from the already too-long 4,000-character limit), support for text formatting, and the ability to edit tweets.

Even though Musk said in February that the feature was ready, Twitter is still working on a way to share ad revenue with Blue users.
