What Happened In Thursday’s Episode Of Top Chef Season 20

Season 20, episode 11 of Top Chef featured a quickfire competition with Andrew Wong as a judge. They had 30 minutes to make a dish that included steamed, but they could only use water from a large pot. Next up was the elimination challenge, in which contestants were tasked with creating not one but three different Wellington dishes—one using seafood, one featuring meat, and one featuring dessert.

As a part of the competition, participants had to prepare a meal for a panel of judges and 25 guests. Amar and Sara, Buddha and Gabri, Tom and Ali, and so on were the three couples. Two of the cooks were sent home instead of just one.

The meat courses were beef Wellington with onion puree, dry-aged beef Wellington with truffle demi-glace, and lamb Wellington with harissa spice. Then we had peach melba Wellington with almond frangipane, apple Wellington with chestnut duxelles, and apple pie tres leches Wellington.
