After the release of her most recent album, Endless Summer Vacation, fans who were hoping to see Miley Cyrus on tour should temper their expectations. The Grammy-nominated singer said she’s not sure if she can see herself doing tours anymore, at least not in the near future, in an interview for the latest cover story of British Vogue.
“It’s been a minute,” she remarked. “After my 2014 headline arena performance, I began to approach it more as a query. I am unable to. Not just ‘can’t,’ as ‘can’t’ is your capacity, but also ‘want’. Do I want to live my life for anyone else’s fulfillment or enjoyment aside from mine? … making it unclear how to respond to that query.
The “Flowers” singer had previously stated in the interview that she preferred to play for her close friends and family members rather than a large crowd.
She remarked,
“Like singing in front of hundreds of thousands of people isn’t exactly what I adore.” There is no relationship. There is no security.
