Sonic Prime Season 2 will release on Netflix on July 13, 2023. and a first-look image from an upcoming episode has been made available to fans as a teaser.
The first eight episodes of Sonic Prime’s planned 24-episode run were made available on Netflix in December along with the rest of the season. The release of the animated adventure’s second season in July has now been officially announced by Collider.

The illustrious blue hedgehog is followed by Sonic Prime on a “high-octane adventure where the fate of a strange new multiverse rests in his gloved hands,” but Sonic Prime is not by himself on his travels. In addition to Tails, Sonic is accompanied by Knuckles, Rouge, Amy Rose, and Big the Cat.
In a new image from Season 2, the pirate versions of his friends Knuckles the Dread, Batten Rouge, Sails Tails, Black Rose, and Catfish are shown helping Sonic in his race to save the world.
Voice actors for Sonic Prime include Deven Mack as the show’s Blue Blur, Brian Drummond as Eggman, Ashleigh Ball as Tails, Shannon Chan-Kent as Amy Rose, Adam Nurada as Knuckles, and Ian Hanlin as Shadow the Hedgehog and Big the Cat.

IGN gave Sonic Prime’s first season an 8/10 rating, praising it for creating “an exciting look at the past while presenting some new ideas” and providing “a fun, family-friendly animated show for new and longtime Sonic the Hedgehog fans.”
