The Netflix original series Inventing Anna exposed viewers to the world of c0nwoman and false heiress Anna Delvey (Real name Anna Sorokin).
Even though the play is based on a true story, some elements have been semi-fictionalized, and some characters based on real persons have been given new names.
Viewers have been riveted when journalist Vivian Kent (based on real-life writer Jessica Pressler) uncovers Anna’s narrative, with other characters retaining their genuine identities, such as Kacy Duke, Rachel Williams, Neff Davis and Todd Spodek.
One character who has baffled fans is Anna’s lover, Chase Sikorski (played by Sameer Usmani). Chase in Inventing Anna is supposed to be modeled on Anna’s real-life partner. Anna’s partner has been a complete mystery until now, but his name appears to have been disclosed.

Who Was Anna Delvey’s Boyfriend?
While Chase is supposed to be based on Anna’s boyfriend, Jessica Pressler’s original New York Magazine article revealed little about his identity. Pressler’s story mentioned a “boyfriend [Sorokin] was running around with for a while,” but no name was given.
The only detail provided by Pressler’s article was that Anna’s lover was a “futurist on the TED-Talks circuit who’d been profiled in The New Yorker,” with Inventing Anna’sVivian consenting to refer to Chase as “the futurist” in her story.
Anna Delvey previously stated that she would charge $10,000 (about £7,300) to expose the true identity of Chase, stating on her Instagram Story, “Want to know who the real ‘Chase’ is? The media outlet with the highest bid gets the exclusive. The bid starts at $10k. DM to bid.”
Now, it appears that the offer is unnecessary, as Anna’s real former boyfriend has been revealed to be software entrepreneur Hunter Lee Soik.
Page Six confirmed that Anna used to date, Hunter. “Hunter is the person who got her into the scene,” one source told the publication. “He is a social person globally. No one knew what he did, but he was always giving advice on how to climb the corporate ladder.”
According to a second source, “he’s connected to a ton of very social people in the tech space.”
Hunter’s LinkedIn profile shows him giving a TED Talk, which corresponds to Pressler’s description of Anna’s boyfriend as “on the TED-Talks circuit.”
Pressler also claimed that Anna’s lover, “The Futurist,” had “moved to the Emirates,” citing Hunter’s LinkedIn profile, which shows him working in Dubai for a while.
Hunter is now the founder and executive chairperson of the Hong Kong-based lens group, a “Family Office and Venture Studio focused on investing and supporting frontier technology and breakthrough product experiences,” according to his LinkedIn page.
