Dr. Oakley is an on-call veterinarian for the Yukon Wildlife Preserve in Canada’s Yukon Territory, the American Bald Eagle Foundation, and the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan after being born in Indiana, and her major was zoology.
