Ricci Rivero finally speaks out about why he and Andrea Brilliantes broke up: “Please allow ourselves to heal.” Ricci Rivero, a basketball player, stated that he and actress Andrea Brillantes are no longer together.
The 25-year-old asked the public on Twitter to give them time to get over each other.
“I own up to the mistake of not making my relationship status public because I felt there’s no need to add up to what we’re going through,” he wrote in the early hours of June 9.
“Please respect our decision to keep it to ourselves so that we can preserve what’s left of our friendship,” he begs, and he keeps asking people on the Internet to stop making up their own stories about what happened.

Before Ricci’s tweet, there was a report on Twitter that Ricci was having an affair with Leren Mae Bautista, a former beauty queen and councilor in Los Baos, Laguna.
Leren is said to have shared a close-up photo of Ricci on Instagram, which he then reposted in a story that has since been deleted. As of this writing, Andrea has said nothing about the split.
Ricci and Andrea got engaged when Ricci proposed on the court after the UP Fighting Maroons beat the FEU Tamaraws in April 2022.
