Karol G is the stage name of Colombian singer-songwriter Carolina Giraldo Navarro. She has dabbled in several other genres, such as reggae and sertanejo, but is best known for her work in reggaeton and Latin trap. She was nominated for multiple Lo Nuestro and Billboard Latin Music Awards and won the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2018.
Giraldo began her career as a teenager by participating in the Colombian version of The X Factor. She was born and reared in Medelln. She relocated to New York City in 2014 to learn more about the music business, where she signed with Universal Music Latino.
The lead single off her 2017 debut album Unstoppable, “Ahora Me Llama,” a collaboration with Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, became her breakout smash. As she and Anuel AA officially acknowledged their connection in the music video for “Secreto” towards the end of 2018, the song quickly gained popularity in Latin America.
She collaborated with Anuel AA, Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, and J Balvin on “China” in July 2019, and it became her first song video with over one billion views on YouTube.
She launched the album Ocean in May 2019, which marked a stylistic change from Unstoppable and incorporated a more laid-back mood in her work. She co-wrote the song “Tusa” with Nicki Minaj, which also hit worldwide and received a 28 Latin Platinum certification from the RIAA.
The song spent 25 weeks on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. Karol G was nominated for four Latin Grammys in 2020. With the top 10 songs “TQG,” a collaboration with Shakira, Karol G became her highest-charting track on the Billboard Hot 100.

Feid and Karol G made their first public appearance as a couple this past weekend on June 16, ending much rumor regarding their relationship status. Karol G supported her reported boyfriend as Feid finished the mainland U.S. portion of his Ferxxo Nitro Jam Underground Tour.

Two sold-out performances by Feid at the Kaseya Center in Miami on June 16 and 20 marked the conclusion of the mainland U.S. portion of his Ferxxo Nitro Jam Underground Tour.
Feid and Karol G were seen holding hands for the first time in public at a concert. Big grins could be seen on both Colombian singers’ faces as they appeared to confirm their relationship. Feid reportedly referred to Karol as “la baby” while thanking his friends and family during the show.
Though Feid and Karol G haven’t publicly declared their relationship yet, their admirers are using these images of the two of them as evidence. One fan on Twitter compared Feid and Karol G to Cosmo and Wanda from The Fairly OddParents since Karol G has pink hair and Feid always wears green.
