When Jenifer was pursuing her Bachelor’s in Communications at Berry College in Georgia, Spencer was the first person she met; nonetheless, they fell in love very quickly. He was a year older than she was, so she decided to break things off once he graduated since she didn’t want to ever hold herself back. They reconnected almost 20 years later on Facebook, though.

Who Is Spencer Herron, and How Did He Meet His Wife, Jenifer Faison?
2018 saw the arrest of Spencer Herron, a former teacher and convicted s*x offender, for s*xually assaulting a student. Herron taught video production at Kell High School in Marietta, Georgia, and twice received the Cobb County Teacher of the Year award throughout his career as a teacher.
He and Faison initially met while attending Berry College in Georgia, where Herron was the station manager for the college’s television station, according to the podcast and Hulu series. Faison and Herron split up after he graduated because she didn’t want to be committed during her senior year and since he was a year older than she was.
Herron married, had kids, and started a video production class at Kell High School. He was performing in the Air National Guard band as well. In the meantime, Faison had earned her college degree and worked as a TV producer on programs like Judge Judy and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, earning her an Emmy nomination.
After Herron’s first wife filed for divorce, they reconnected, and Faison left a comment on Herron’s Facebook 20-year college reunion photo. Following business trips that put them both in New York at the same time, the couple reconciled, and Faison relocated to Georgia. They eventually got hitched and started a wine bar together.
In 2018, when Faison returned from a business trip, she saw Herron in tears and told her that everything was over. Soon after, the police arrived to take him into custody. She then found out that her “perfect” spouse was facing three felony counts of s*x abuse against a teacher.
Faison went to delete her husband’s Facebook account after learning of his crimes and found hundreds of images of naked women there. She discovered “over 60 women” he was communicating with in his emails after following a link from his Facebook account.
