Kari Lake, a former right-wing TV anchor, has been defeated in her quest for governor of Arizona by Democrat Katie Hobbs. Now, the MAGA Trump-humper-in-chief is considering following in the footsteps of her orangey-white nationalist overlord and disputing the election results despite the lack of evidence that they should be disputed. After all, she was a staunch backer of Donald Trump’s “stop the steal” misinformation campaign.

Meanwhile, Black Twitter is questioning Lake’s ethnicity and whether she’s been a lady of color passing as a white woman the entire time.

We were first made aware of the potential of Lake becoming Bizarro World. Rachel Dolezal responded on Facebook to writer Damon Young‘s question about if she is at least half Black.

“So now that kari lake lost, we can ask, can’t we?” Young questioned. “I mean, she is, ain’t she? she has to know she is, right? If she don’t know–and she do, she has to know, but let’s just say she don’t–who gonna tell her? She can stay where she is, she don’t have to come over here. we don’t want her. They can keep her. but she gotta know, right?”

We never paid Lake enough attention to get a good look at her, but after seeing some close-up photographs of her looking like a middle-aged Walmart brand Whitley Gilbert, We are not sure what to think.

Sure, Lake appears to barely season half a chicken breast before placing it into the air fryer. She appears to be able to electric slide on the beat for at least five seconds before reverting to river dancing. Lake appears to have attempted to lynch the other half of herself while sleeping. She appears to wash one leg in the shower and use a real washcloth three days a week.

Still, other Black Twitter users are saying, “nah, she’s a whole white woman, and Black people have no business claiming her.”

It doesn’t matter if Lake is entirely Caucasian or half Karen and half Candace Owens—she’s a full-fledged MAGA right-winger who the Black delegation should reject. I honestly don’t understand the point of this conversation.
