Twitch streamer Kai Cenat’s name has taken over today’s news cycle following his arrest by the NYPD as a result of the catastrophic consequence of his unlicensed meet-and-greet in New York’s Union Square Park. Nonetheless, video evidence of Kai leaving the police station has emerged in the last several hours, albeit the exact location of the precinct has yet to be confirmed.
A number of media gathered outside the police station and approached the streamer for a statement, as expected. One journalist, in particular, enquired about the whereabouts of the PS5 consoles he planned to give away. However, security personnel soon escorted Kai into a car and he made no comments.

What Did Kai Cenat Do? Streamner Charged With Multiple Counts
As previously stated, Kai Cenat and other AMP members organized a giveaway in the center of Manhattan. Unfortunately, this turned into a chaotic situation as thousands rushed in to pick up stuff. Police stated that a large number of attendees were in possession of dangerous objects, which resulted in some injuries.
According to NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey, the streamer did not have a permit for the public display. He also stated that he had been in contact with the streamer’s crew and legal counsel to discuss potential charges.
Later, during a news conference, the Chief revealed that Kai Cenat will face at least two counts of prosecution, including riot incitement and participation in an unauthorized assembly. He stated:
Yes, the influencer is charged. He is gonna be charged with multiple counts. At least two counts of incitement of riots, unlawful assembly and a few other charges.

It is important to note that the video footage of Kai Cenat being released from the precinct does not definitely prove his innocence. His release could be the result of him posting bail (unconfirmed). Given that the officer indicated charges, it’s possible that Kai will face legal processes in the near future, such as trials or court hearings.
