The world is learning about the shady underbelly of South Korea’s pop music industry at a time when K-Pop has become popular and taken the world by storm, with numerous exposés in recent years uncovering everything from s*x abuse scandals to suicides. Who Got Plastic Surgery From BTS?
While a few K-Pop artists have revealed their procedures over the years, BTS, probably the most popular K-Pop group in the world, has maintained the existence of such processes a secret. Have the Bangtan Boys, also known as Jin, RM, Suga, Jungkook, Jimin, V, and J-Hope, performed any tasks while keeping them secret from the public? RM
BTS’ primary rapper RM born Kim Nam-Joon, formerly known as Rap Monster, is the group’s only member who has openly admitted to having cosmetic surgery. Surprisingly, RM declines the surgery. The operation was medically necessary, the boy band’s management firm, to fix a deviated septum that was impeding his breathing.
BigHit Entertainment confirmed his surgery in a press release in 2018. He was recently treated and released from the hospital. For the time being, he wishes to rest and concentrate on regaining his health. RM’s treatment is now the BTS members’ only confirmed plastic surgery case.
Even if the rumors about the other members getting work done aren’t true, the increase in cosmetic surgery has had an impact on their fan base, also known as BTS ARMY, in subtle ways.
Jimin
Jimin, the lead singer of the South Korean pop group Bangtan Boys, or BTS, has addressed rumors concerning plastic surgery. The internet is buzzing over Jungkook’s double eyelid surgery and nose job. But we don’t think this Jimin had any surgery.
BTS Jimin’s visage does resemble that of someone who has undergone major plastic surgery. He seemed to have lost weight and fat in his cheeks as he grew older. He also has a more defined jawline, yet it appears natural. Jimin simply appears more mature. He moved from cute to dashing.
J-Hope
Another member who does not appear to have had any treatment done is BTS J-Hope. His facial proportions are nearly comparable. The only significant difference we can see is that he is sporting a more voluminous hairdo. Even when plastic surgeons analyzed his face, they found no evidence that BTS Jhope had any plastic surgery. So, for the time being, we must infer that his wonderful looks are all genuine.
Suga
Looking at the before photos of BTS Suga, you can see that most of his traits haven’t changed. He seemed to have just grown more mature and self-assured. So it’s safe to assume that BTS hasn’t done any plastic surgery.
That doesn’t imply he hasn’t had any cosmetic treatments done on his face. BTS Suga said that he had laser hair removal on his face, making it impossible for him to grow a mustache or beard. He opted to do it because he used to have a pretty thick mustache before making his debut. It even appeared green in some lights, which he disliked.

Jungkook
Jungkook from BTS has never mentioned getting plastic surgery. Many fans, however, have detected certain alterations in his face and suspect he has had work done.

Plastic doctors from around the world have also examined BTS Jin’s photos and found no evidence of modifications. The singer has also never mentioned having work done. As a result, I feel it is safe to assume that BTS Jin has had no plastic surgery.
