Destiny 2 Season 22 Artifact Mods
The Seasonal Artifact Mods for the upcoming Destiny 2 Season 22 have been made public by Bungie. More information regarding the season and the Final Shape expansion will be unveiled during the next Destiny 2 Showcase, albeit the name of the season is yet unknown.
The Guardians are now striving to find The Witness, who entered the Traveler via a gateway made with The Veil’s assistance after the events of Destiny 2’s Lightfall campaign.
However, the Guardians discovered that Savathun’s assistance is required to defeat The Witness in Season of the Deep with the aid of Sloane and a marine creature named Ahsa. The new Artifacts Mods that players will have access to utilize against impending dangers have now been revealed by Bungie.
Beginning with the new Artifact Mods, Bungie described how the team’s objective was to allow players to alter their play style. To accomplish this, Bungie is introducing brand-new sandbox features dubbed “Elemental Orbs,” which were inspired by Strand Tangles.

These features will be unlocked when players beat opponents with Arc, Solar, and Void weaponry. Elemental Orbs were first introduced in Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes event, where players could make them and gather them to become Empowered, lengthening the life of their Super Ability and providing other advantages.
These Elemental Orbs, however, will be unique because players can pick them up and throw them towards foes, which, depending on the type of orb, will jolt, scorch, or turn them volatile.
Bungie then detailed the Artifact Mods for Season 22 of Destiny 2. Recent additions include overload Machine Guns, Unstoppable Fusion Rifles, and Piercing Bowstrings. There isn’t a single artefact mod for the Stasis subclass, even though many other mods are built around the recently added Elemental Orbs.

Additionally, Bungie stated that an upcoming patch would correct an issue that prevents Overload Machine Gun and Hand Cannon mods from overcharging the weapons. In addition, Destiny 2 Season 22 will have an Exotic Mission Rotator that will bring back some beloved Exotic missions lost due to content vaulting.
Bungie will release new weaponry in Season 22 and change the in-game economy. Along with Season 22, which will premiere on September 1, 2023, there will also be a replayed raid that is supposed to be Crota’s End.
