However, records that E! News obtained on August 23 indicate that the two have finally reached an understanding. Berry and Martinez will have joint physical and legal custody of Maceo.
Additionally, according to the agreement, the Catwoman actress will pay for Maceo’s tuition, school uniforms, and supplies for as long as he attends a private school, as well as pay Martinez $8,000 per month in child support and “4.3 per cent of any income she receives above $2,000,000.” Soccer is mentioned in the agreements as an extracurricular activity that Berry will also be liable for paying for.

Berry’s representatives have not yet responded to E! News’ requests for comment on the situation. Still, Martinez’s legal team has issued the following statement:
“The public documents filed in the matter should speak for themselves. The parties wanted more clarity regarding Maceo’s schedule and their respective time with their son. The Judgment was reached in mediation with the parties and their counsel.”
Halle and Olivier first met in 2010 while filming Dark Tide. Three years later, they were married when Halle was three months pregnant with Maceo and had a 15-year-old daughter named Nahla with her ex-husband Gabriel Aubry.

In a statement provided to E! News in October 2015, the ex-couple discussed their choice to be divorced:
