In the popular dating show on Netflix called “The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On,” couples face a unique choice. After a special dating “experiment,” they must decide if they want to get married or break up forever.
What’s unusual is that during this “experiment,” they date someone else right in front of their partner. The second season of the show just came out on August 23rd, and it starts with a really intense episode where one couple has a big fight.
The show is hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, and it has a specific plan for the couples. First, they pretend to break up. Then they date someone else for three weeks as if they’re “married.”
After that, they come back to their original partner for another three weeks of “marriage” before deciding if they want to really get engaged or end things for good. A couple named Antonio Mattei and Roxanne Kaiser has caught a lot of attention after the start of the second season.
People are curious if they’re still together. Since only eight episodes have been released so far and there are two more to go, nobody knows for sure what happened between them. However, there are some clues on social media about whether or not Roxanne and Antonio are still together?
Are Roxanne and Antonio Still Together?
Right now, we don’t have an official answer. By the end of episode 8, they’re really thinking hard about what getting engaged might mean for them.
If you’re curious and want to know before the show ends, there are a few hints online. First, Roxanne and Antonio still follow each other on Instagram, but that might be because of the show. We’re not sure.
But here’s something interesting, a person on Venmo who seems to be Antonio sent money to Roxanne a few times at the end of 2022 (the filming finished in November 2022). He paid for things like “hotels” and “boots.” He also sent money to Roxanne at the end of May.
So, Are Roxanne and Antonio Still Together? We can’t really know until the show’s finale.
Roxanne & Antonio’s Journey on Netflix
Netflix says that Antonio is a 30-year-old freight broker and that Roxane is a 31-year-old business founder and CEO.
Roxanne is the head of Pasted(Nip), a “braless alternative” pastie that covers your nipples. Netflix doesn’t say what company she works for, but a quick online search (and her IG) show that she is in charge of it.
Netflix says that Roxanne and Antonio have been dating on and off for about four years. Antonio wants to get married, but Roxanne doesn’t, she’s not even sure she wants to get married at all.
Roxanne has a lot of trouble with Antonio’s job. This is something she talks a lot about when she meets other guys on the show. This hard worker is really upset that her partner isn’t also working hard.
The couple’s Netflix bio says:
“She first wants her forever partner to match her income and business ambition and Antonio just hasn’t met her expectations,” “While he admires her entrepreneurial spirit, Antonio wishes that she’d pay him more attention, particularly when it comes to demonstrating her affection.” (As viewers later learn, Roxanne apparently can’t say “I love you,” either.)
What Happens in the Beginning Episodes?
Roxanne is very clear that she’s not happy that Antonio doesn’t have big career goals, and she’s not interested in a traditional marriage.
During the experiment, she gets along well with Alex Chapman, who’s in a similar situation because his partner, Kat, also gave him an ultimatum.
They connect over not wanting to get married, and Roxanne is really interested in the fact that Alex started and sold his own company.
They seem like they could be a good match, but they have an argument when Alex says Roxanne doesn’t “respect” Antonio. On Antonio’s side, he gets paired with Alex’s ex-girlfriend, Kat Shelton. However, they seem more like friends than anything else.
