Fans of sci-fi and the classic TV show “Quantum Leap” will be happy to hear that experienced actress Eliza Taylor and talented actor Peter Gadiot have joined the cast for the second season, which has been eagerly awaited. Eliza Taylor, who is known for her part in “The 100,” and Peter Gadiot, who is known for his work in “Queen of the South,” will bring new energy and captivating performances to this popular time-travelling series.
As soon as the Quantum Leap accelerator starts up again, fans can look forward to a thrilling mix of history, drama, and adventure, with Taylor and Gadiot adding their own special skills to the show’s talented cast.
Eliza Taylor and Peter Gadiot join Quantum Leap Season 2
NBC’s Quantum Leap, a remake of the well-liked sci-fi drama from the 1990s starring Raymond Lee, will have series regulars Peter Gadiot (Queen of the South) and Eliza Taylor (The 100) in the forthcoming second season. Before the strikes began, both transactions were completed.

It has been 30 years since Dr Sam Beckett entered the Quantum Leap accelerator and disappeared, according to the Season 1 logline. In an effort to relaunch the project and uncover the truth about the machine and the man who built it, a new team has been put together.
Tom Westfall, a high-ranking Army Intelligence officer and former special forces member, is portrayed by Gadiot. Hannah Carson, a sophisticated young woman who might be more than she seems, will be portrayed by Taylor.
Ernie Hudson, Caitlin Bassett, Mason Alexander Park, and Nanrisa Lee also appear in Quantum Leap alongside Lee. Along with Dean Georgaris, Don Bellisario, Deborah Pratt, Chris Grismer, Steven Lilien, and Bryan Wynbrandt, Martin Gero serves as executive producer.
In collaboration with I Have an Idea! Entertainment, Belisarius Productions, and Quinn’s House Productions, Universal Television, a branch of the Universal Studio Group, produces. The second season of Quantum Leap debuts on NBC on October 4 and streams the next day on Peacock.

Quantum Leap Season 2 Has Already Made Some Interesting Casting
It has been revealed that Melissa Roxburgh will make a cameo appearance in Quantum Leap season 2’s opening episode. As part of the same episode, Francois Arnaud (UnReal), Aaron Abrams (Blindspot), and P.J. Byrne (Big Little Lies) will join Roxburgh, who is best recognized for her role as Michaela Stone on Manifest. At the most recent San Diego Comic-Con, Roxburgh’s casting was announced along with a clip from the first eight minutes of the second season.
Ben didn’t make it home in the footage; this was alluded to in the Quantum Leap season 1 finale. Instead, he discovers himself inside the body of Perez. aboard 1978, he is travelling somewhere in Russia aboard a plane.
Ben must complete the leap alone because he can’t contact his colleagues. The Air Force is represented by Roxburgh, Arnaud, Abrams, and Byrne on Perez’s squad. They are given a covert assignment to deliver a mysterious cargo, but when the jet is shot down, everything goes wrong.
The autumn television lineup seems unoccupied. This essentially boils down to the studio and streamers not having been prepared to make a compelling argument for ending the ongoing strikes. Given the situation, Quantum Leap season 2 might profit from being one of the few shows that is releasing fresh episodes.
