Splatoon 3 is getting some more cool stuff called ‘Side Order,’ which is like an extra part of the game.
They first told us about it in a video in February, but now they’ve shown us a trailer and said it’s coming out in September 2023. It was the first thing they talked about in the new Nintendo video, which made Splatoon fans really happy.

Side Order Release Date
The new Splatoon 3 Side Order DLC is coming out in Spring 2024. It’s going to add more fun to the game’s story, but with a cool twist to the world of Inkopolis.
In the trailer, they showed a place called the Spire of Order, which looks all futuristic and different from the colorful Inkopolis Square.
In this DLC, you’ll face a bunch of challenges and enemies, kind of like a special game inside the game. They want you to play it many times, so it’s super fun to replay.

The trailer also showed that when you defeat enemies, you’ll see numbers that show how much damage you did. And each level in the Spire has its own difficulty level and prizes you can win. These prizes will make your character better at things like shooting ink or running fast.
The DLC also introduces a robot named Pearl and a new friend called Acht. Acht seems to have an interesting story to uncover.
You’ll have to wait until Spring 2024 to play it, but you can get it with the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass for $24.99. So while you wait, you can enjoy other cool stuff in Inkopolis.
