iOS 17 comes with some cool new features. In iMessage, there’s a neat expandable menu for a cleaner look, a ‘Check In’ option to share your location, audio message transcriptions, search filters, and more.
They’ve added something called ‘NameDrop,’ an extension of AirDrop that lets two iPhones share contact info when they’re close.
The Phone app now has Contact Posters, which are like customized cards for different people who call you. iOS 17 also introduces the StandBy feature, which turns the display of iPhone 14 Pro and 15 Pro models into a smart display when the Always-On Display mode is on standby.
