Sarah Gelish, who worked as a school psychologist at Meeting House Hill School, was well-liked in the New Fairfield community. She was also a Fairfield University Ph.D. candidate in educational leadership and the president of the Connecticut Association of School Psychologists (CASP).
She was well-liked by both her employees and students, who praised her as a caring and dedicated professional. But she died at the young age of 32, and we’ll learn more about her death in this post.
Sarah Gelish Obituary: A Lasting Tribute to a School Psychologist
The inhabitants of New Fairfield are currently mourning the death of Sarah Gelish, a 32-year-old psychotherapist who died on February 13th, 2023. Nonetheless, the primary cause of her death has not been determined.
Her family has not disclosed any information about the circumstances surrounding her death. She was Andrew’s wife and the mother of their lovely daughter Ava. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist Sarah’s family at this difficult time.
Gelish was also the president of CASP, an organization with roughly 500 members, and was pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership at Fairfield University at the time of her death. Gelish’s life is still being honored by the university, CASP, and Meeting House Hill School.
Since 2014, when Sarah assumed the role of Fairfield University’s alumna student liaison, she has played a significant role on the CASP board. Sarah studied school psychology at Fairfield University.

Sarah was admired for her exceptional beauty and generosity. She was a good person who was always willing to help those who needed it. Giving children the skills and abilities they need to excel in both academic and social situations was a priority for Sarah.
She was aware of the specific difficulties that many students face, but she was motivated to help them overcome these difficulties so they may achieve their full potential.
