The visual artist, 49, and the John Wick: Chapter 4 actor, 58, shared a kiss while attending the 2023 Museum of Contemporary Art Gala on Saturday at the Geffen Contemporary in Los Angeles. In a 2020 interview with Vanity Fair, the artist disclosed that she and Reeves became close after she gave him the book more than ten years prior.
“I made the book as a private gift for Keanu as a surprise. When I presented it to him, our friends in the room started laughing and pleaded with me to publish it. Therefore, it is how we entered the publishing industry, Grant said in the 2020 interview.
“Ode to Happiness” is described as “a playful guide to climbing out of depression” by Vanity Fair and blends text by Reeves with illustrations by Grant. Later, they released a sequel named “Shadows.” Grant said that she and Reeves became closer as a result of their partnership and were motivated by it to launch a publishing company.
The public was generally unaware of the couple’s connection despite their appearance together at the event. In identical all-black outfits, Grant and Reeves attracted attention. They even linked hands while posing for pictures in front of the wide ocean.
When asked by People to describe his most recent “moment of bliss,” Reeves replied that it had just happened and involved Grant, whom he referred to as “my honey.” “We were sleeping.
