Warzone Season 6 Patch Notes Highlight Kastov 762 Changes

To ultimately balance the class, Season 6 improves other sniper speeds and nerfs the Kastov 762 and Signal 50. Here is all the information you require on the most recent Warzone upgrade.

Al Bagra Fortress, the main addition to Warzone Season 5, wasn’t well received by the neighborhood. It was described by players as the “worst resurgence map in COD history.” After an “embarrassing” mistake caused the release date of the map to be delayed by a week, sentiment soured regarding the map.

Players criticized Al Bagra Fortress when it finally went live because it was just a POI on Al Mazrah and because there were times when half the circle would be covered in water. The player count on Al Mazrah was controversially lowered from 150 to 100 in Season 5. According to the developers, the modification would “improve matchmaking times, faster pre-game lobbies, and a better quality of match overall.”

Season 6 Kastov 762 & Signal Buff, Ranked Play Changes

WZ Ranked reports that the Kastov 762 has the highest pick rate of any weapon, at 31.6%. Additionally, it became very evident during the 2023 World Series of Warzone Global Finals that professional players exclusively employ the Signal 50 during far-off encounters. Both differences were noted by Infinity Ward, who then addressed them in the Season 6 update.

  • Buy Station Limited Row
    • P.R.D. has been replaced with a Medic Plate Carrier which costs $4,000.
    • Reinforcement Flare price has been increased to $7,000, up from $5,000.

End of Season Skill Setback

  • At the end of each Season, your ending Skill Division will determine where you start the following season:
    • Bronze through Crimson I Players are set back three Tiers below where they finished in the previous season.
      • Example: A Player ending Season 04 in Gold III will begin Season 05 in Silver III.
    • Players Crimson II and above will start Season 05 in Diamond I.
