Adult Swim renewed Rick and Morty for an eighth season in January 2023, along with the seventh, ninth, and 10 seasons. Even though Season 7 is only a month away, fans are eager to learn when the eighth season will be released.

Is There a Release Date for Rick and Morty Season 8?
Rick and Morty season 8 has no set release date. The eighth season is scheduled to premiere around 2024 or 2025.
The release years of 2024 and 2025 for the eighth season are due to the pattern established by the previous six seasons and the approaching seventh season, in which there was a one-year or two-year time gap between the previous six seasons and the seventh season.
These dates are estimates based on information available at the time of writing.
Season 8, like Season 7, will have Eric Bauza as Rick and Morty’s voice, rather than Justin Roiland, because Adult Swim parted ways with Roiland following claims of domestic violence against him in January 2023. Other voice performers from the show, including Spencer Grammer, Chris Parnell, Sarah Chalke, Karin Wahlgren, Dan Harmon, Maurice LaMarche, and Tom Kenny, are expected to return.

When Will Rick and Morty Season 8 Be Released?
Season 8 of Rick and Morty is expected to premiere on Adult Swim in 2024 or 2025. Season 8, like the previous six seasons and the next seventh season, will most likely be available on Hulu and Max.

Rick is a mentally-unbalanced but scientifically gifted old man who has recently reconnected with his family. He spends most of his time involving his young grandson Morty in dangerous, outlandish adventures throughout space and alternate universes. Compounded with Morty’s already unstable family life, these events cause Morty much distress at home and school.

Season 7 of Rick and Morty was confirmed on the show’s official X / Twitter account, where they announced the new season’s premiere date, October 15, 2023, and that it will air weekly at 11:00 AM EST.
