Following the April 3 collision, Boreman was transported to Denver Health Medical Center with severe trauma and internal injuries, according to hospital spokesperson Sara Spaulding.
Larry Marchiano, Boreman’s ex-husband, stated that he was at the hospital with their two grown children when she passed away.
“Everyone might know her as something else, but we knew her as mom and as Linda,” said Marchiano. “We divorced five years ago, but she was still my best friend.”
After 22 years of marriage and a move to Colorado in 1990, the couple got divorced in 1996. According to Boreman, she was forced into p**nography at gunpoint by her first husband. They parted ways in 1973.
In her 1980 autobiography “Ordeal” and in her testimony before congressional committees looking into p**nography, she described how their relationship fell apart and turned into a life of violence, r*pe, prostitution, and p**nography.

Boreman claimed that despite “Deep Throat” making an estimated $600 million in revenue, she never received any payment and her husband only received $1,250. After quitting the business, she spoke at colleges and alongside well-known feminists while on a lecture tour advocating against p**nography.
“I look in the mirror and I look the happiest I’ve ever looked in my entire life,” she said in a 1997 interview. “I’m not ashamed of my past or sad about it. And what people might think of me, well, that’s not real. I look in the mirror and I know that I’ve survived.”
On January 10, 1949, Boreman was born in New York City’s Bronx borough.
