Members of Nintendo Switch Online have a lot to look forward to as new classic games are added to the platform’s expanding catalog. Two classic games that gamers adore, Devil World and Castlevania Legends, are now playable.
Retro gaming fans treasure two games: Castlevania Legends, which is a part of the renowned Castlevania series, and Devil World, a puzzle game renowned for its maze-like puzzles and wacky characters. With these enhancements, gamers of all stripes may now delve deeper into the rich history of Nintendo games and its incredible library of classic titles.
Nintendo Switch Online Adds Devil World and Castlevania Legends
Three historically themed classic games have been added by Nintendo to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack collection. Most players probably only played one of the three games available back then—Castlevania Legends for the Game Boy, we’re assuming—but there are also additional options, such as Devil World and The Mysterious Murasame Castle, both NES games.

Castlevania Legends: Play as a young vampire hunter named Sonia Belmont in Castlevania Legends, a 1998 Game Boy system release. She uses the whip her grandfather taught her to use to travel to the castle where Dracula is waiting.
By taking down bosses, you can obtain Soul Weapons, which you can utilize to go deeper inside the castle. Once per level, you can enter Burning Mode to momentarily become invincible, which is useful if you ever find yourself in a tight spot.
The Mysterious Murasame Castle: Murasame Castle and its surrounding areas are under the influence of an enigmatic entity. Four adjacent castles’ worth of lords have each acquired a dark sphere of power, which gives them the ability to call out legions of ninjas and other creatures that wreak havoc on the towns.
Fearless samurai swordsman Takamaru has been dispatched to look into the matter. Before going to Murasame Castle, he has to sneak into all four castles and take out the lords. Unlock the hidden source of evil with sword and shuriken assaults.
Devil World: You take on the role of Tamagon, a brave dragon that must navigate a maze filled with many obstacles to overcome evil, such as gathering boa-boa dots and using fire breath to destroy foes.
But as you proceed, pay attention to the devil at the top of the screen! In an attempt to trap Tamagon inside the maze’s boundaries, he will give his goons orders to move the structure in arbitrary ways.
