For decades, Tom Cruise has been plagued by suspicions of plastic surgery. And, despite the fact that the 60-year-old Top Gun: Maverick actor looks completely different today than he did at the outset of his career, he has still denied ever having surgery! Yes, exactly!
Fans have continued to wonder if the actor has had work done, with rhinoplasty, Botox, and fillers among the treatments they believe he has had over the years. The only treatment fans can be certain of is his dental treatment, as he received ceramic braces at the age of 40, which he displayed during the Minority Report premiere in 2002.

The Jerry Maguire star didn’t appear to have anything to conceal, as onlookers reported he was happily waving to fans and appearing to have a good time at the game.
Interestingly, Cruise appears to be appearing more natural these days, which could indicate that he is avoiding the claimed cosmetic treatments entirely or at least not as frequently. Or it could simply suggest that he expects much more subtle results. Everything is totally speculative because he has never been honest about what he has and hasn’t done.

A Plastic Surgeon Examines Tom Cruise’s Appearance
Despite the obvious proof in before and after photos, as well as the fact that he has been photographed with a puffy face on various occasions over the years, the American-made actor maintains that he has had no work done.
Dr. Richard Westreich, a plastic surgeon, said that it’s “possible that he may have spent up to $50,000 on cosmetic treatments,” including some “very heavy” Botox. Wow! Fan speculation is one thing, but we also enjoy hearing from experts!

“Overall, I think Tom is just getting started with it all,” Westreich told the pub, before contrasting the Top Gun star’s present appearance to one from a few months ago.
“In the Oscar run-up, Tom’s forehead looked as smooth as a drum. His eyebrows also look a little lower than usual. If Botox is done fairly heavily, then the brows can drop, and this looks like pretty heavy Botox to me on his forehead. Usually male actors want very light treatments because they want to maintain their ability to make expressions. Looking at past photos of Tom smiling, his brows go up and he has lines on his forehead.”
Tom Cruise Looked Different On The Red Carpet In May 2022
The actor from Jack Reacher: Never Go Back seemed quite different on a few red carpet events in the previous year, such as the Cannes Film Festival and the London premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in May 2022. This time, however, fans and plastic surgeons alike believed that the actor might have been doing the exact opposite and permanently postponing the procedure rather than having new plastic surgery!
The Oblivion actor’s appearance at the end of 2021 was attributed to alleged cosmetic surgery that had not yet settled, but it has been suggested that his appearance in 2022 could be the result of either a combination of slightly different cosmetic treatments or that the surgery finally settled, as evidenced by the very noticeable fine lines on his face.
We also can’t dismiss his longer haircut, which may be the result of something more than a recent hair transplant or just him wanting to grow it out. However, we’re always curious to hear the opinions of the experts.
