On November 7, 1960, Seidler was born in Alhambra, California. He was the nephew of Peter O’Malley, who inherited the team, and the grandson of Walter O’Malley, the Major League Baseball (MLB) owner who moved the Brooklyn Dodgers to the West Coast and became the Los Angeles Dodgers.
