Erich Gonzales Husband
People are even more interested in learning who the attractive actress chose as her life mate since Erich Gonzales has kept her romance and wedding plans with businessman Mateo Rafael Lorenzo a secret.
Erich’s fiancé first gained internet recognition in February when fans noticed a photo of the couple’s wedding banns at St. James the Great Parish in Ayala Alabang Village, Muntinlupa City. Nevertheless, the actress kept quiet about her fiancé and the wedding.
However, Mateo’s brother Andres Lorenzo posted an Instagram story on Wednesday, March 23, the day listed on the previously cited wedding banns, which featured a couple that appeared to be Erich and Mateo confronting a church altar.
Who is Mateo Lorenzo?
Business magnate Martin Ignacio Paez Lorenzo and his wife Leah De Leon Lorenzo had twelve children together, Mateo being one of them. According to a Wall Street Journal profile, the elder Lorenzo is the Chairman and CEO of Central Azucarera de Tarlac, Inc., which is referred to as “one of the economic prime movers of Central Luzon” on its LinkedIn profile.
The company “operates a sugar mill and refinery, distillery, and carbon dioxide plants in Barrio San Miguel, Tarlac City.” Mr. Lorenzo was also mentioned as having led eighteen separate businesses in the same profile.
A variety of food brands, including Dencio’s in 2004, Terriyaki Boy in 2005, Sizzlin’ Pepper Steak in 2007, Kabisera ng Dencio’s in 2008, Le Coeur de France in 2008, Yellow Cab and Chicken Rice Shop in 2011, were all founded or acquired by Mateo’s father. In the past, he also owned and ran Del Monte Philippines and Pancake House.
Mateo, thirty, appears to be carrying on his father’s legacy. They both earned their management engineering degrees from Ateneo De Manila University and went on to the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School to complete their MBAs.
Mateo is listed as a member of the officers and board of directors of First Lucky Holdings Corp., one of the key shareholders of Central Azucarera de Tarlac, Inc., according to a document posted on the CAT website.
Mateo was raised in a close-knit household. In a 2012 interview, his father stated to the Inquirer that he and his spouse had been actively involved in their kids’ extracurricular and academic pursuits.
Mr. Lorenzo claimed that even with twelve kids, they never had live-in domestic help. “My wife [and I] prepare breakfast for the kids, and by 6:15 to 6:30, they are already out of the house, and that is when I prepare all the schedules. However, our eldest is already helping us with our youngest,” he remarked. The Lorenzo siblings enjoy different sports.
Mateo has now turned his Instagram account private. However, a screenshot of his Instagram account that we discovered online indicates that he enjoys driving, golfing, show jumping, and agriculture.
