Does Joyce Meyer Have Cancer?
Joyce Meyer Talks About Her Breast Cancer Narrative In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Joyce wants to support others going through a similar experience by sharing a little bit of her own story.
She was horrified to find out she had breast cancer in 1989 when she went for a routine examination. She was advised to get a mastectomy because the cancer was of a fast-growing variety. Though it was a challenging experience for her, she chose to put her confidence and trust in God and His purpose.
Up until a few years ago, Joyce had routine checks and always got precise results; this changed when she started having back problems. After more testing, it was discovered that she had tumors on her spine that might be cancerous.
She decided to put her faith in God and wait for the outcome in spite of her dread. The results of the test revealed that the cancer had wholly cured and left her body. Joyce never wavered in her faith and emerged from it all feeling more muscular than before.
