One well-known person in the mukbang and YouTube communities is Nikocado Avocado, and he has raised questions about his s*xual orientation. Nicholas Perry was born on May 19, 1992, and rose to celebrity first with his entertaining food-related videos. Nikocado Avocado has been transparent about his personal life on social media as an openly LGBTQ+ person.
Although he had dated another YouTuber, Orlin Home, his romantic life has taken many different turns. Nikocado Avocado’s current s*xual orientation is a topic of frequent dispute among fans and followers, adding to the complexity of identification in the digital era.
Is Nikocado Avocado Gay?
Avocado married Orlin Home in 2017 and has a gay s*xual orientation. In a 2016 video, it is stated that he connected with Home on a vegan Facebook group. Avacado was first exposed to the world of sharing videos on YouTube by Home. This was the beginning of his prosperous YouTube career.
In 2020, Avocado shared a video claiming that they had split up because of offensive remarks. After that, he continued to make films and shared one with the comment, “Why We Can’t Break Up.”
Truth Behind the Separation From Orlin
Home claimed to have started the split on his own and remarked, “I can’t take it anymore.” “I literally just left after packing my suitcase. I’ve finally left, and I’m at the airport. I’m not coming back,” he continued.
Home continued by saying that since Avocado was the one who wept the most, it was more agonizing for him than for the mukbanger. House, a YouTuber as well, showed concern for his former partner and stated that he wanted Avocado to control his eating habits and lead a healthy lifestyle.
Home added a text at the end of his 10-minute video that said, “I am glad it’s over,” and then there was a full minute of stillness. Home and Avocado split up, but Home suggested they were once inseparable in a recent YouTube video where he ate salad and shared outtakes.
Starcasm revealed that the account claiming to be the source of Avocado and Home’s split may have been a scam. Despite their shared videos, he hasn’t disclosed that he and Nick are still dating.

Nikocado Avocado’s Personal Life
Nicholas Perry was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, after being adopted as a baby by an American family. In college, Perry majored in performance. Perry worked as a Home Depot employee and freelance violinist in 2011 and 2012 before relocating to New York City in 2013 to fulfill his ambition of performing in a Broadway orchestra.
He struggled to make a life, though, in a city entirely of other gifted musicians. A 2016 video claims that Perry connected with Orlin Home via a Facebook community for vegans.
Home flew from Colombia to see Perry at the Woodstock Fruit Festival, following months of correspondence via the internet. After spending time together traveling throughout Central America, they started dating, and at the beginning of 2014, Perry gave up his music career to move to Colombia with Home. On April 10, 2017, the two men tied the knot.
Nikocado Avocado’s Career
In 2014, Perry was first persuaded to create his own YouTube channel by Home, who had one already. At the time, Nikocado Avocado was his channel, and it featured music videos, lifestyle videos, and vegan vlogs.
In a video he posted on September 1, 2016, Perry expressed his dissatisfaction with the vegan community, calling it “unbalanced, hostile, and mentally unstable,” as well as why he no longer wished to be a vegan YouTuber.
One of the first American guys to participate in the fad, Perry started making mukbang films in 2016. His first video attracted 50,000 views in a matter of weeks. In his previous mukbang videos, he was shown eating with his pet parrot perched on his shoulder.
In 2018, Perry made an appearance on Comedy Central’s Tosh.0. In addition to YouTube, he is active on Cameo, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Patreon, and OnlyFans. He claims that his inadequate nutrition has caused him to experience manic episodes, and he uses clickbait to capitalize on his low points to increase views on his videos.
Perry claimed in an interview with MEL Magazine in 2021 that he self-orchestrated many of his online confrontations for the sake of his profession, citing his background in performance arts and his desire to take on the role of the antagonist.
