Akanishi Jin Biography
Born on July 4, 1984, in Chiba Prefecture, Greater Tokyo Area, Japan, Akanishi was the elder of two sons. Reio, his younger brother, is an actor in the entertainment business who goes by the stage name Fuuta. When Akanishi was in first grade, he went to Tokyo.
He was included in the “Cool Classmates” section of the idol magazine Myojo in 1997, when he was still in elementary school, thanks to a classmate who sent in a picture of him.
When Akanishi showed interest in the entertainment business in 1998, his mother applied to Johnny’s Entertainment on his behalf. On November 8, 1998, he attempted to return his number plate to a man who happened to be Johnny Kitagawa himself and was told to stay even though he had officially failed his audition.
Kuroki Meisa Biography
Satsuki Shimabukuro was Kuroki’s birthplace in Okinawa, Japan. A fashion scout spotted Kuroki in Okinawa during her sophomore year of junior high school. She then started modeling, first and foremost for the well-known fashion publication JJ. She belonged to the B.B. Waves group at the Okinawa Actors School, which she attended and graduated in 2007. Kuroki has 3/4 Brazilian ancestry.

Kuroki Meisa Acting Career
In February 2004, Kuroki made her stage debut in the play Atami Satsujin Jiken: Pyonyang Kara Kita Onna Keiji (The Atami Murder Case), written by Kōhei Tsuka. She has kept up her theatrical career since making her stage debut, appearing most recently in Onna Nobunaga (2009) and Hiryuden 2010: Last Princess (2010).
Other notable roles she has had include the musical Endless Shock (2005) and the Azumi stage plays in 2005 and 2006. In 2004, Kuroki debuted on television in the drama Medaka on Fuji TV.
She has been in supporting parts in a number of popular and critically praised drama series, such as Shinzanmono (2010), Haikei, Chichiue-sama (2007), and Kaze no Garden (2008). For her performance in the Fuji TV drama Ninkyo Helper, Kuroki was awarded the 2009 Television Drama Academy Award and TV Life Drama Grand Prix for Best Supporting Actress.
Her role in Chakushin Ari: Final, the last film in the Chakushin Ari series, won her the Golden Arrow Award for Best Newcomer of the Year in 2006. She starred in the CGI animation film Vexille, directed by Fumihiko Sori, in 2007.
She has starred in two live-action films, Assault Girls (directed by Mamoru Oshii) and Subaru (a live-action version of the Masahito Soda manga produced by Bill Kong).
In the live-action movie Space Battleship Yamato (2010), Kuroki portrayed Yuki Mori opposite Takuya Kimura. 2011 saw Kuroki and Mikako Tabe co-star in Jiu: Keishicho Tokushuhan Sosakei, a TV Asahi drama, in Kuroki’s first serial drama central role.
