Reposting Parvati’s status on their Instagram Story with a red heart emoji and teary eyes was Martin, the creator and star of the Feel Good sitcom who identifies as non-binary. Additionally, a brief video of the couple riding a seashore Ferris wheel was shared, in which Parvati winked cheerfully at the camera.

When Parvati revealed her relationship, friends of the couple and other LGBTQ+ celebrities reacted with joy. “Love you both! So happyyyyyyyy! Truly icons,” exclaimed Fire Island actor Matt Rogers, and “I’ve never felt prouder to be GAY” was declared by New York Times Cooking journalist Vaughn Vreeland.

Meanwhile, writer Evan Ross Katz continued, “A perfect pair. Honored to have played the tiniest role in this epic link-up. Love you both.”

Parvati was married to fellow Survivor competitor John Fincher before she started dating Martin. Before becoming engaged in January 2017, the couple started dating in 2014.

In August 2021, after being married for four years, she filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Ama, the couple’s lone child, was born in 2018. Parvati’s announcement also coincides with her expected TV comeback since The Traitors’ second season is scheduled to debut on Peacock on January 12, 2024.

Shallow made her television debut on Survivor: Cook Islands. In 2008, she emerged victorious from Survivor: Micronesia — Fans vs. Favorites, and in 2010, she finished in second place on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. In 2020, she participated in Survivor: Winners at War as well.
