Celebrating the new year of 2024 with his mom, Donna Kelce, and girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was the highlight of Travis Kelce’s life.
On Wednesday’s edition of their “New Heights” podcast, Travis’ brother Jason Kelce inquired about the tight end’s experience having their mom watch his New Year’s Eve game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Chiefs are based in Kansas City.
“Did having Mom there for that game make a difference?” How would you rate it? Without bringing up the fact that Swift was also in attendance at the celebratory showdown over the weekend, Jason, who is 36 years old, questioned Travis.
“It was fun, yeah,” Travis, 34, coyly shared, adding, “And then we all got to celebrate New Year’s together.” “It was awesome, man, to have all the friends and family there,” he concluded. More than fifty or fifty-five folks showed up for this one.
The two-time Super Bowl winner reported receiving a wonderful gift from his mother and having a “good New Year’s celebration” with loved ones.
“I got to exchange presents with Mama Kelc. I can’t tell you what I got because some things are still being made for you,” he told his brother of the gift Donna picked out. “That’s one of the gifts and it’s awesome. You’re gonna f–king love this gift.”
Having the grandmother of the family present with Swift must have made Travis pleased. “It was cool to have Mom in town to catch up on a little Christmas and the New Year. Bring the New Year in with her,” he said.

Similarly, Swift and Kelce spent Christmas Eve and Day together. The singer’s brother Austin Swift, her parents Scott and Andrea Swift, and Travis himself were all in attendance at the Christmas Day game.
The Grammy winner, whose brother was dressed as Santa Claus, looked joyful in a Santa hat that had Travis’ jersey number stitched into it.
According to reports, the Swifts and Travis’s dad, Ed Kelce, celebrated the holiday together after mingling throughout the game. Although they began dating last summer, Taylor and Travis didn’t publicly announce their love until September 2023.
