Cardi B also revealed that she had been hinting to her fans about the breakup by unfollowing Offset and sharing mysterious posts on her account. “I don’t know if you guys have been getting clues from me, from my Lives, or from my Stories, when I put some certain music, or find my unfollowings,” the rap artist stated.
How Did Offset and Cardi B Meet and Fall in Love?
Cardi B and Offset first met in 2017 when they collaborated on the song “Lick.” Her mixtape, Gangsta Bitch Music, Vol. 2, which was made available on January 20, 2017, included the song.
When Cardi and Offset went on their first date to Super Bowl LI in February 2017, it all started. Offset declared, “My first date, I went big,” in 2021 while visiting The Tonight Show. “I wanted to do something that was not normally done, you know what I’m saying? Why Did Cardi B File for Divorce From Offset?
Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in September 2020. But by November of that same year, they had reconciled. Cardi filed for divorce in Georgia’s Fulton County. Their marriage was declared to be “irretrievably broken” at the time, with “no prospects for a reconciliation” and the divorce being categorized as “contested.”
