Coaching Career of Pete Carroll
Although NFL players receive the majority of the attention, coaches are equally vital to a team’s success or failure. Pete Carroll is a top-tier coach who has demonstrated his ability to guide a team to victory with the USC Trojans and the Seattle Seahawks.
The New York Jets struggled under Carroll’s guidance when he first took over as head coach in 1994. From 1995 to 1996, he was the defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers. He was hired as the head coach of the New England Patriots in 1997, a job he maintained until 1999.
