Vanderpump Rules confetti Lala Kent wasn’t interested in dating after her messy separation from ex-fiancé Randall Emmett in October 2021. Other Bravo bachelors exhibited interest in the single Utah native at BravoCon 2023 and even met up with her outside of the event. Lala, for her part, publicly flirted with Below Deck’s skipper Jason Chambers, and many are wondering if she is back on the dating scene.
Who Is ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Lala Kent Dating?
The former SUR hostess appears to be single, but she sought out Captain Jason when he expressed interest in her at BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas. Jason updated Us Weekly on his feelings for Lala during the event on November 4, stating that they “met” the day before.
“I’ve met Lala [Kent]. We had a great chat,” he told the magazine before sharing on their “perfect” encounter. The reality TV skipper raved that he and Lala are “very similar” and have connected over their shared experience as single parents.
Lala has a daughter, Ocean, with her ex-fiancé Randall, while Jason has a daughter, Saskia, with an unidentified previous partner. Aesha Scott, Jason’s co-star, confirmed the potential pairing to Us Weekly because Lala “could be a little bit freaky.”
“Freaky’s good!” exclaims Jason.

Is Lala Kent Dating Captain Jason Chambers?
Lala and Jason may have followed the rules of Sin City, but they are not dating. However, this does not rule out the possibility of it occurring in the future.
Lala sported a matching athleisure Burberry suit with a plunging unzipped top and posted a playful TikTok before heading to the final day of BravoCon on November 5.
“Boobies are out. I hope to see Captain Jason,” Lala remarked, shimmying to the camera and sticking her tongue out. The two met at the event hours later and even took a photo together.
“Day 3,” Lala posted an Instagram photo of herself with the handsome captain. Fans and fellow Bravolebrities chimed in in the post’s comments section, and everyone was going nuts over their link-up.
“I’m peanut butter and jealous,” RHONY star Brynn Whitfield responded, while a fan added, “This is Bravos Travis [Kelce] and Taylor [Swift]. This is the update I came for!! Love this!!”
Jason also shared a photo with the “Give Them Lala” podcast host, both of whom were smiling broadly.

After postponing their wedding due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Lala and Randall were poised to go down the aisle but called off their engagement after the film director cheated on her.
The former couple divorced in October 2021, and the founder of Lala Beauty broke her silence two months later.
“Unfortunately, for me, my head has been in the sand. I don’t know how the f–k I didn’t see a lot of this s–t,” she stated at the time on the podcast “Give Them Lala.” “The second that I felt unsafe — I said this in therapy — I said, ‘The second I get a pit in my stomach, it’ll be a different conversation.’ I got that pit and I got the f–k out.”

Lala revealed bombshell information about their breakup on Instagram in March, saying Randall had an affair with a younger lady one month after they welcomed their daughter, Ocean.
“They ‘traveled’ together while I was home with Ocean and working on my brand. I thought he was working because that’s what he said he was doing,” she commented on @onemomsbattle’s March 2021 Instagram post. “His new 23-year-old girlfriend was ‘basically living’ in the home 2 days after I left. Sadly, this isn’t the most shocking thing I learned. Women and cheating are just the tip of the iceberg. I was able to get out – but now my daughter is in the hands of a broken court system.”
