In 2017, there was a rare instance of the internet coming together. Rachel Lindsay chose Bryan Abasolo over Peter Kraus on The Bachelorette season 13, and hardly anyone was happy about it. Kraus has been active on Instagram since his appearance on The Bachelorette, and his stint on the show has earned him an astounding following of over 315K! His Instagram feed gives a glimpse into what he’s been up to since The Bachelorette in 2017.
Kraus’ main love is exercise, and he’s turned it into a facility called Peter Kraus exercise. He owns the gym in Middleton, Wisconsin, and despite his hectic schedule, he still coaches! It’s even opened a new location in Madison.
As for his romantic life, his Instagram account as of 2024 provides no obvious signs. If he is dating anybody in 2024, they are keeping it hidden, but it appears Kraus is single.
Kraus Was a Fan Favorite in His Season
Kraus appeared on The Bachelorette in 2017, competing for Rachel Lindsay’s hand. Kraus was a popular favorite and even made it to the final show. His anxiety about proposing so early cost him the victory over Bryan Abasolo, who was eager to propose.
Kraus’ popularity on The Bachelorette led producers (and fans) to hope he would return to Bachelor Nation, either for his season of The Bachelor or for Bachelor in Paradise. Indeed, the Bachelor Nation production crew invited him back three times! He was supposedly casually dating a woman and did not want to end the relationship.
He was also hesitant to enter into an engagement with a woman in such unusual circumstances. Aside from that, the individual seemed practical: the remuneration was too little in comparison to his business earnings. Perhaps he’s outgrown reality TV and prefers to focus on real-life connections.

Why Did Rachel And Bryan Move To Splitsville, USA?
Rachel hinted at their imminent divorce on the “Viall Files” podcast in late December. She stated that her and Bryan’s work schedules had caused them to live “totally different lives.” Bryan supposedly works 12-hour days alone, whereas she has far more “free time.”
Bryan filed for divorce and announced the news on Instagram, writing, “If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I don’t like to put my personal affairs on social media and like to keep a safe space for our family. Many of you know me as a chiropractor, and also as a husband, my proudest role so far. After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew. My parents have been married forever and I’m a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go. I wanted you to hear it from the source before the blogs start making up their own reality. Please respect the spaces of our family and friends as we figure out next steps.”
“Many of you know me as a chiropractor” is my favorite sentence in any divorce announcement. It is worth noting that Rachel and Bryan do not have children, yet he is seeking spousal support. Despite being well-known, it appears that the chiropractor’s business is meeting his needs.
